We are thrilled to announce the companies joining the second 2024 edition of the Future Fifty programme<\/a> for the UK\u2019s next generation of unicorn founders.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Specifically tailored to help support late-stage companies with greater access and growth opportunities, our latest cohort was announced on 12th September at Daylesford Farm by Programme Lead Johnny Mayo, during the inaugural Future Fifty Forum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The companies in the second Future Fifty cohort of 2024 have collectively raised over \u00a31.1bn and employ more than 2,500 staff. Across both 2024 cohorts, this year\u2019s Future Fifty companies have raised over \u00a32.4bn and have a total headcount of 5,500, with 90% of the companies represented participating in some form of international market expansion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participating companies are at a pivotal point in their scaling journey, generating \u00a35m revenue per year or experiencing 50% YoY growth. All will typically have successfully raised Series B funding, be headquartered in the UK and will be a digital\/tech-enabled business with a product or service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Johnny Mayo, Future Fifty Lead, Tech Nation, said:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s clear from this newest cohort is the continued strength across the UK tech scene in sectors such as biotech, aerospace and quantum – this Future Fifty cohort has the potential to bring huge economic value to our tech ecosystem\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
